One of our talented designers, LMA is lucky to call Jill Hickman one of ours. A jack of all trades, Jill is a single mother to two boys and is skilled in all forms of textile art—sewing, cross-stitch, knitting—you name it, she does it, and sells it at her own small business, Oh Just Dandy.

In high school, she worked on a flower farm on weekends learning to appreciate the labor and not so fun tasks of the floral industry, like watering and weeding. She was eventually able to go to farmer’s markets and sell bouquets from the farm, and 20 years later had the opportunity to join the LMA team as a designer in 2019.

“There is something incredibly fulfilling about taking something basic and raw, and then turn it into a beautiful work of art”—we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
